One of the most important characteristics that distinguishes Russia is the presence of many visited areas in the permafrost region. There is also a museum in Igarka dedicated to this natural phenomenon. It is worth noting that there is a natural phenomenon also called (White Nights), which is one of the symbols of St. Petersburg, and among the most beautiful to see are the provinces of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk, which are famous for their colorful northern lights.

وفي كامتشاتكا هناك براكين معروفة حول العالم، وكذلك وادي السخانات الشهير، وتلك المنطقة تُعرف باسم (أرض الدببة)، وهي من أحد رموز روسيا، ومن مناطق الجذب الطبيعية كذلك محمية (Stolby) الطبيعية، أعمدة التجوية، أعمدة Lena، أعمدة Amur، وكهف Kungur في شمال الأورال.

ومن أهم الخصائص التي تُميز روسيا هي وجود الكثير من المناطق التي يتم زيارتها في منطقة التربة الصقيعية، كما يوجد في (إغاركا) متحف مخصص لتلك الظاهرة الطبيعية، ومن الجدير بالذكر أن هناك ظاهرة طبيعية كذلك تُسمى (الليالي البيضاء)، وهي واحدة من رموز سانت بطرسبرغ، ومن أجمل ما يُمكن رؤيته هي مقاطعات مورمانسك وأرخانجيلسك التي تشتهر بأضوائها الشمالية الملونة.
